IT goes ZERO waste
The IT group joins Polygreen's Just Go Zero program for circular waste management! The IT restaurant in Kolonaki and B&E Goulandris Café-Restaurant trust Just Go Zero for the recycling and full utilization of the glass and coffee residues they produce.

- Collected and managed based on their future utilization
- They are transformed into new products that serve the needs of man

Food & Wine Experience / Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation
The contemporary Greek cuisine, the contemporary Greek winery the contemporary Greek and international Art, meet at the Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation in the hip neighborhood of Pangrati. Haris Antonopoulos, chef of the IT group, creates a specially designed menu combining creative Greek flavours with wines from the Kir-Yianni Estate. What is truly like to dine in a museum restaurant at the time when the art collection is resting? How can a wine’s profile stand out with the right gastronomic combination? How can a spring’s night inside an Athenian patio take you on a culinary journey? You are invited to live this experience in the restaurant that can be found at the mezzanine of this unique building with a menu conceived for the occasion, paired with labels from the Kir-Yianni Estate. The event takes place in the framework of This is Athens City Festival.

IT at every step of it’s way suggests a more eco friendly lifestyle. Having this thought in our minds we designed a fabric tote bag which can accompany you any time of the day. From the classical typography and numbering of Ancient Rome to the modern always healthy twist of the gastronomic journey guaranteed by IT, there is a new way of living that respects the environment and praises simplicity and aesthetics.
High Hills at CANAL Café
Just before the start of August and just before Athens completely empties out, High Hills come to SNFCC's Canal Café to present the tracks from their 1st EP together with their unreleased songs and covers of songs from a wide musical spectrum. High Hills consists of: Alex Vassiliou | electric guitar, voice Yannis Georgakopoulos | electric bass, voice Kostas Mitsos | drums Stavros Balis keys, voice Dimitris Bardakas | drums, voice, acoustic guitar Michael Pilate | electric bass, voice Dimitris Raptis | voice, electric guitar Start time: 21:00 Free entrance
IT won first prize!
The IT restaurant won the first prize in the Casual Dining category of the Tasty Awards, the only gastronomic awards in Greece that are voted by the public! During the 4 months of the online voting at tasty-guide.gr, more than 60,000 votes were recorded from the public, an extremely optimistic message for the entire gastronomic scene in Greece. The large participation of the public in the voting proves the great interest in restaurants and gastronomy, which today, after a challenging period for the F&B industry, is making an impressive comeback. The glamorous ceremony took place at the Michalis Kakogiannis Foundation and was attended by all award-winning restaurants, representatives of the media, the business world, the political leadership, and the public as well. Estrella Damm Beer at IT restaurant
With great pleasure, we would like to announce the beginning of our gastronomic tapas journey with Εstrella Damm, starting on Thursday, June 2 and ending on Sunday, June 26 !! Over 140 years ago, the young brewer August Kuentzmann Damm emigrated from Alsace with his wife Melanie, fleeing the Franco-Prussian War. The journey took them to the Mediterranean coast, where they settled to fulfil their dream: to brew beer. In 1876 they opened their own brewery and created a beer that was adapted to suit the Mediterranean climate. Lighter than central European beers that were designed for colder climates, we know it as Mediterranean lager. The special menu curated by our corporate chef Haris Antonopoulos and the IT team is waiting for you to enjoy! Menu + 2 Estrella Damm 330ml = 29 € 1st course: Bravas potato, spicy chipotle mayo, tomato coulis 2nd course: Ceviche white fish, coconut milk, sweet potato, coriander, chili, citrus 3rd course: Chorizo croquettes, lemon aioli

How can a plate of food become a catalyst in our effort to eliminate social exclusion? On Wednesday, April 13 at 19:20, we hosted you at our restaurant, where Food On organized one of its Social Dining events and all together we created a unique and memorable social experience with a humanitarian cause. People do not need food only as a fuel, but also as an occasion for social contact and interaction with other people. Through Food On’s Social Dining, we come together with our fellow human beings who experience social exclusion and we become an active community that interacts, collaborates, and shares experiences of solidarity. This is the first step of their empowerment within the framework of the integrated program of Food On which includes participation in social dinners, networking, training, and job placement in the food services industry. If you are ready to experience a different kind of socialization and contribute to our effort for a world without social exclusion.
Picnic at CANAL Café
Take a break and enjoy a coffee or a full meal from the CANAL Café at the SNFCC! On the weekend of May 28 & 29, 2022, we start the picnics in the park and we have prepared delicious delicacies and beautiful picnic tote bags to carry your tablecloths and everything else you need to spend quality family time. In the park of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation with a series of music and sports events all the members of the family can have a good time and have fun surrounded by greenery and the waters of the canal. We are waiting for you to pick your lunch box and accompany it with the picnic tote bag powered by CANAL Café 🌿
Wine tasting at Canal for SNFCC members
The season of Lent, rich in the flavors and aromas of Spring, has a special gastronomic interest due to fasting. In this workshop we combined fine wines from Ktima Biblia Chora with favorite Lent recipes, (such as eggplant salad, taramosalata) and cold appetizers (octopus, potato salad) with handmade bread of Betty's Bakery. The presentation was curated by the sommelier of Ktima Vivlia Chora, and the menu by the chef of IT catering. The suggested wine labels are: Estate Biblia Chora, White Wine Sideways, White Wine Vivlinos, Roze Vivlinos, Red Wine Suggested dishes in individual portion of meze: Taramosalata Eggplant salad Potato salad with herbs Octopus vinegar The dishes were accompanied by a variety of handmade bread, olives and seasonal vegetables on sticks.
